The Role
JVR Solutions is recruiting two QA Testers. This role offers hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, with a focus on developing test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of software quality.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide foundational training in QA principles and practices, enabling learners to contribute effectively to the software team and acquire key skills in testing and quality control.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field will be a preference.
- Experience: Exposure to systems operations and electronic platforms.
Key Responsibilities (KPAs)
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office, QA and development teams, as well as client representatives to understand software requirements and create test plans.
- Execute manual and automated tests, identify and document issues, and provide feedback to the team.
- Participate in code reviews and learn to analyse software from a quality assurance perspective.
- Assist in troubleshooting and work with the team to improve software performance and user experience.
- Learn and use testing tools and automation software, contributing to the overall test coverage.
- Participate actively in team meetings, providing feedback and sharing insights.
- Document Testing Phases and Defects: Maintain logs of testing activities and document any defects or issues found.
- Report Bugs and Errors: Communicate identified bugs and errors to the development team for resolution.
- Conduct Post-Release Testing: Perform testing after software releases to ensure no new issues have been introduced.

Location
Remote and hybrid options available, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering.
