Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration, Sixth Edition (BEERY VMI)

Clinical | Educational | Neuropsychology | Academic Functioning

The Beery™ VMI is an easy-to-use and cost-effective screening toolthat measures the extent to which individuals can integrate their visual and motor abilities. It screens for visual-motor deficits that can lead to learning, neuropsychological, and behaviour problems. The Beery™ VMI is available in both a Short Format as well as a Full Format, with the Short Format being used most often with children between the ages of 2 and 7 years. Both the Short and Full Format tests present drawings of geometric forms arranged in order of increasing difficulty that the individual is asked to copy. As a culture-free, non-verbal assessment, the Beery VMI is useful with individuals of diverse environmental, educational and linguistic backgrounds.
