JvR would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Schepers family and the late Prof Johann Schepers for the wonderful donation of books. We have formed the Prof Schepers library at JvR, and extend an open invitation to everyone in our discipline to visit the library. There is a wealth of knowledge from a lifetime of exceptional contribution, and we feel very privileged to continue Prof Schepers legacy in this way. JvR and the University of Johannesburg would also like to announce an annual prize for a UJ student of Psychology who shows excellence in research. This 'Professor Schepers Award' will be bestowed on one worthy student per year who embodies the academic excellence and rigour that Prof Schepers always demonstrated and encouraged in all his students. Our hope is to keep his legacy alive in this way.
